Three and Out is a weekly series that will examine three areas where the Oakland Raiders played well, and three areas where they didn’t.

In what is becoming a common trend for the 2016 Oakland Raiders, they won yet another game that came down to the wire with a 34-31 victory at home against the San Diego Chargers.

With the win, the Raiders moved to 4-1 on the season and into a tie for first place in the AFC West with the Denver Broncos, thanks to their loss to the Falcons in Week 5.

The 4-1 start is Oakland’s best since 2002, and the win also came one day after the 5th anniversary of the passing of Al Davis.

As always, there are areas where the team played well, and areas where they didn’t.

Let’s start with the positives. Here are three areas Raiders fans should feel good about following Week 5.
