An updated injury report for the Oakland Raiders as well as the Buffalo Bills ahead of their Week 13 matchup.

Two days away from their inter-conference matchup with the Buffalo Bills, the Oakland Raiders have come off five straight wins, but are somewhat banged up. However, looking at the bigger picture, they are still healthier than most teams.

Here’s a quick look at the injury report for both the Raiders and the Bills, including which players are in jeopardy to miss Sunday’s game, and we’ll take an in-depth look as to whose absence will have the most impact.

Raiders injury report:

DJ Hayden – Did not practice (hamstring)

Darius Latham – Did not practice (did not participate)

Stacy McGee – Did not practice (did not participate)

Shilique Calhoun – Did not practice (knee)

Derek Carr – Full (finger)

Michael Crabtree – Limited (ankle)

Rodney Hudson – Limited (limited)

Latavius Murray – Ankle (limited)

Kelechi Osemele – Knee (limited)

Perry Riley Jr. – Hamstring (limited)

Malcolm Smith – Hamstring (limited)

Unfortunately, these are more players than anyone wants to see on their teams injury report. The one thing that stands out here is that you have a whole lot of ‘limited’ players on the report, which is something to be optimistic about.

Amerson, Crabtree, Murray, Hudson, Malcolm Smith, Riley are all listed as questionable.

I would not expect any of the offensive lineman, nor any of the key offensive players (Carr, Crabtree, Murray) to be in danger to miss this Sunday’s game. The injured players that should concern some would be the defensive line injuries to Stacy McGee and rookie Darius Latham, who both are unlikely to play.

Both players have had their moments, with McGee being a pleasant surprise, showing an ability to rush the passer from the defensive tackle spot. Latham has been a solid cog in the run defense.

Nickel cornerback D.J. Hayden was placed on injured reserve, and Shilique Calhoun seems to be in jeopardy of missing Sunday’s game.

Buffalo’s injury report:

Robert Woods – Out (knee)

Ronald Darby – Out (concussion)

Percy Harvin – Out (illness)

Lorenzo Alexander – Limited (ankle)

Cordy Glenn – Limited (back)

Richie Incognito – Limited (neck)

Marcell Dareus – Limited (abdominal)

Mike Gillislee – Limited (hamstring)

Charles Clay – Limited (knee)

Sergio Brown – Limited (hamstring)

John Miller – Limited (shoulder)

Sammy Watkins – Limited (foot)

James Ihedigbo – Limited (ankle)

Marquise Goodwin – Limited (wrist)

We have a whole lot of questionable’s here, but the players who stick out like a sore thumb are wide receiver Sammy Watkins and defensive lineman Marcell Dareus.

Watkins, although it was reported that he still has a broken bone in his foot, is expected to play according to head coach Rex Ryan. Watkins has the ability to take the top off the defense at anytime, and I would fully expect cornerback David Amerson to be matched up with Watkins for the majority of the game.

Dareus on the other hand, is expected to be a full go, and will most likely be a handful for guards Kelechi Osemele and Gabe Jackson. That will be a matchup that is going to be fun to watch all game long.

The injury that will certainly hurt the Bills is cornerback Ronald Darby, who has been ruled out.

As we all know, Derek Carr loves to spread the ball around, and with the suspect safety play of the Bills, I would expect either or both of Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree to have another productive day.
