It’s our final chance to see the Silver and Black in 2012. While there is the promise of seeing the Raiders again in 2013 the odds of seeing Richard Seymour suit up for Oakland ever again are long.

Seymour is out of action for the eighth week in a row as the Raiders placed their veteran D-lineman on IR. Joining Seymour out of action are Carson Palmer and Phillip Adams for the Raiders.

The good news for the Raiders is that only one name appears with the word “Out” next to his name this week. The bad news is it’s the same name that’s been there for seven weeks running now. Richard Seymour will once again sit and has likely played his final game in Silver and Black if he’s out of action for the season finale next week.

For the first time in what feels like forever the Oakland Raiders released an injury report this week void of an players whose status is listed as “out”. That said it doesn’t mean the team will be at full strength though.

Both Richard Seymour and Tyvon Branch are up in the air as to whether or nor they’ll play. One man who won’t play at all today is Chiefs receiver Dwayne Bowe who has been shutdown for the season. Many estimate that Bowe has played his final game for the franchise.
