Come Sunday there will be no love lost. Whenever those chumps…err…Chiefs roll into the East Bay all I want to do with all that red is paint the town. Among the best rivalries in the history of the sport, Raiders-Chiefs is always must-see-TV. Tomorrow’s edition promises to be a heated battle. Kansas City is regaining its form from last season despite two horrible losses and two terrible injuries to begin the season.

Don’t look now but if (and I stress if) the Chiefs can end Oakland’s streak of dominance in the AFC West then they’ll be right in the hunt for the division.

That being said Hue Jackson is doing his best to keep Todd Haley guessing. Will Carson Palmer start? Is Sebastian Janikowski healthy enough to boom 55-yarders? Will Matt Cassel crap his pants the first time Richard Seymour and Tommy Kelly come at him with hate in their heart?

We’ll have to wait a few more hours to get answers to those questions. To get you ready for the game I stepped into Chiefs country to answer a few questions from Arrowhead Addict.

So often in life it seems as if tragedies are the only instances in which enemies put aside their differences. The same is true in sports.

Over the past week there has been nothing but praise for all Al Davis did for professional sports. As such a polarizing figure you’d expect a lot of that sentiment to be filled with a few backhanded compliments here and there.

Thus far I’ve seen very little of that as fans from all walks of life have sung nothing but the praises of Mr. Davis and his illustrious career. With that being said the article written by Keith Halpin (Merlin to AA faithful) over at Arrowhead Addict made me pause.

To be sure any Chiefs fan is my sworn enemy on Sundays. Monday through Saturday it’s all love…unless, of course, our two teams are set to tangle. Then that entire week has me seeing red…literally.

AA is by far and away the best blog there is for all the Chief faithful there are out there. And no, that is not hyperbole…its fact.

So when I saw a post on AA thanking Al Davis I expected a nicely done piece with a few carefully placed jabs sprinkled in. Instead what I was treated to was one of the more educational and thorough posts on Mr. Davis’ contributions.
