Was Richard Seymour channeling intimidating Raider legends from the past when he punched Ben Roethlisberger in the grill? Was he overtaken by the spirit of Jack Tatum or Lyle Alzado? I saw the same thing live opening day in Oakland when Rolando McClain picked up and dumped Danny Amendola on his ear hole. The Coliseum erupted like I hadn’t heard all day!

McClain’s hit was illegal for the most part but it was during play and was awesome. Seymour’s punch to the chops was selfish and did not benefit the “team” at all. Now, did I enjoy Seymour’s hit? Hell yes I did! And so did thousands of women over the world! (Allegedly) If you are a quarterback in the NFL and no one likes you because of your off field antics, things happen. It’s called karma.
