Here’s how you know Darren McFadden is officially an NFL superstar. TMZ reports that pop sensation Rihanna is denying rumors that she is dating Run DMC. Apparently there is talk that the two were seen making out in Hawaii just a few weeks back.

But you don’t reach TMZ status by scamming with pop stars alone. Lots of folks do that. Hell, for most bartenders on the Sunset strip that’s just a typical Saturday night. You’d think there would be more to this story…right?

You’d be correct.

The report goes on to claim that McFadden met Rihanna in Honolulu where he introduced himself to her with his girl standing right there with him. Next thing you know the happy trio was said to have enjoyed drinks on the beach courtesy of Rihanna who was in the Hi-State on business prompting her new flick Battleship.

While Rihanna is claiming she’s just friends with McFadden she was sporting a silver and black jersey in a NYC strip club last week. I guess that’s just coincidence. Far be it for me to intimate McFadden is stiff arming his girl to make an open field run for Rihanna’s goalposts. Could just be that Rihanna is working her way north through Cali having had a brief fling L.A. Dodger Matt Kemp not too long ago.
