Today is a day to be thankful for all we have in this crazy life. I know I’m thankful for the opportunity to share my thoughts on the best football franchise in the world. I’m very thankful for all the great readers that visit this site and share their thoughts on the Raiders. Without all of you this labor of love wouldn’t be possible.

I’m thankful to be part of the best family in all of football as well. As a member of Raider Nation everyday is Thanksgiving. I’m thankful for Al Davis and his desire to create a franchise that was about more than just the game. Raider Nation is family.

So today, enjoy the time with family and friends. Enjoy the food. Enjoy the football. Even if you’re working today be thankful that you’re collecting a check when there are so many that are hurting these days.

Above all else just be thankful for being able to awake to another sunrise with the hope of seeing plenty more.

Oh…and before I forget….
