Rory’s Take: Let’s work off the assumption that Lovie Smith get this job. If so he is not going to want to worry about the defensive which he can coach up as well as anyone. Instead, give his prospective offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford every weapon possible and make it work like Chicago.
Chase’s Take: Sammy Watkins gives the Bucs some true offensive firepower with the emerging rookie surprise story Mike Glennon at quarterback and Vincent Jackson already in the fold. Another spot where you can see defense going, but with so many QB’s and pass rushers gone during the first picks this seems like a natural spot for the first wide receiver to be selected.
