#11 Tennessee Titans: Blake Bortles, QB UCF

Rory’s Take: I am not high on Bortles, but his best comparison is Ben Roethlisberger whom Whisenhunt coached in Pittsburgh. This seems like an ideal match if the Titans are not sold entirely on Locker who could end up being trade bait for a team like the Jaguars.

Chase’s Take: The Bortles/Roethlisberger comparisons make this interesting, and it needs to be considered that the new Titans regime may want to move beyond Jake Locker even if they also shed Chris Johnson’s salary. Bortles gives Whisenhunt a quarterback in a mold that he has been successful with before, even if they already have a quality (yet injury prone) starter in Locker.
