One could argue that Munnerlyn has developed into the best slot corner in the NFL. He has spent six seasons in Carolina and came into the league at the ripe old age of 20. He has grown into a very talented player that does everything you need a corner to do. He is a solid physical defender, he has quick feet and hips to smother slot receivers, and he is a force in the run game. There have been rumblings that the Raiders are interested in Munnerlyn and will make a move for him, but if someone is willing to overpay the Raiders will pass because they can go back to Porter whom they know well.
