Sio Moore

As a rookie last year, Sio Moore showed that he could set the edge in the run game and excellent in coverage. Then when they finally started blitzing him , he showed he can put heat on opposing quarterbacks. Moore finished with 4.5 sacks last year but would had more if Tarver sent him more earlier in the season.

With Tarver’s aggression along with Moore showing he could do it last year, Moore should get more opportunities this year.  And with all the pass rushers he has around him now, he will have plenty of openings to the quarterback. I can’t predict more than eight timely sacks for Moore this year because I don’t know how much he’ll blitz but he’ll have a good percentage.

He’s already tearing it up this preseason with sack, pressures, tackles for losses and in coverage. You gotta love a versatile outside line linebacker like that because opposing offense won’t know what he going to do. And running away from Khalil Mack won’t do you much good because it runs you right into him.
