The Great One

When I called Charles Woodson the great one before, it was because of how great he was for so long as a corner. And after a so-so year at free safety last year, it looks like he’s more at home there this year and may be great at it there too. Like Moore, Mack, and Branch, Woodson was all over the field as it’s too bad it seemed like they were the only four on defense.

I kinda wanted to see him move back to corner because he was average at safety last year and the injuries the Raiders have at corner. But I’m good on that now after seeing the instincts he has developed at safety as he displayed on his diving interception of Smith in the season opener. Woodson also had nine tackles and a pass defensed to go along with that outstanding interception for the game.

Woodson was hitting kinda hard out there too.
