Bottom Line

If I’m right, Mack is in the Leo spot where he can put his hand in the dirt or stand up. Lofton and Smith will be at Mike and Will, depending on who wins the position battle at Mike during 2015 Training Camp.

Many have free agent pickup Dan Williams at the 3-tech with Ellis at the 1-tech and Tuck at the 5-tech. But Edwards Jr. has been working at 3-tech and if he wins out there, Williams will start at the 1-tech. Or, if he wins out at the 5-tech, where he’s also been working, Williams and Ellis will be inside.

If that happens, Tuck will end up cut along with Burris and the other vets from last year but I doubt that happens. Either way, my bet is that Mack is the Leo and posts double-digit sacks in 2015. He’s the best edge-rusher on the team an that’s what your best edge-rusher does out of that scheme.

Also, look for Moore, who’s a very underrated pass-rusher, to come off the other edge and Mack to drop from his Leo position at times.

What do you think? Should the Raiders move Mack to the Leo position.
