Why the Raiders and Chargers stadium proposal solves the NFL’s LA needs

Capturing the unique feel of Los Angeles will be critical for either proposal. The entertainment capital of the world already houses several stadiums and venues. I believe the NFL wants more than just state of the art. The NFL wants an experience that will make the new Los Angeles stadium an attraction on its own.

Did you see those palm trees? How about the drive-up red carpet? How about the gigantic monitors inside and out, or the huge area for tailgating? Patrons can even take a photo with the Lombardi Trophy at the proposed venue. The outdoor patio on the sideline is also a one of a kind feature. Even the nosebleeds has its’ own bar area.

I am not sure you get more Hollywood than that. You can compare the two videos if you want, but the Inglewood project has only released some photos. Thus far, I’d rather be seen at the Carson stadium. It captures the L.A. vibe, because it is a stand-alone NFL experience.
