Derek Carr has had a pretty interesting season in 2018, and we are only three games into the year. He looked a bit shaky in the team’s season opening loss to the Los Angeles Rams, and then put up historic numbers against a very good Denver Broncos defense in the loss in Week 2.

Early on this past Sunday, Carr was carving up the Miami Dolphins, but faded away late, as the offense struggled after halftime. He cannot allow that to happen, and while he did play decently, throwing for over 340 yards and a touchdown, most of that came early, and he took some questionable shots that led to turnovers later on.

The Browns have a standout cornerback in Denzel Ward, and they have a decent pass rush with guys like Myles Garrett, and defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi, who have combined for seven sacks this season. Carr is going to have pressure in his face all game long, and if the Raiders are going to win one in front of their home fans, he has to settle in and make the tough throws.
