28. . Safety. Delaware. Nasir Adderley. 24. player

The safety position showed great promise in 2018, as defensive coordinator Paul Guenther really got the unit to function as a whole later in the season. The biggest bright spot was the play of Karl Joseph, a 2016 first round draft pick who had struggled to find his stride at the NFL level since coming over from West Virginia.

During his time as coach of the North team at the Senior Bowl, Jon Gruden got to see first hand the kind of player Nasir Adderley is. While Erik Harris stepped up big time in 2018, he should be used more for depth at the safety position, and Adderley is a guy who could step in and start right away.

With Joseph really turning the corner last year, and Harris looking like a legitimate NFL player, there are some building blocks at the safety position in place. Adderley is a guy who not only has great hands, but is good in coverage, and is never afraid to come up and make the big play. Gruden loves him, and so should Raider Nation.
