28. . Cornerback. Georgia. Deandre Baker. 24. player

In the middle of the first round, if the Raiders hold on to all three of their first round picks, the Raiders should look to add one of the elite cornerbacks in this draft class. Sure, Greedy Williams from LSU has gotten top-billing, especially after his blazing 40-yard dash at the Combine, but Deandre Baker is a special player in his own right.

Baker is a guy who could take away one side of the field at the next level, and possesses the kind of athleticism that will pair well in this Raiders secondary. Remember, Oakland placed a second-round tender on Daryl Worley on Thursday, so he is likely back for the 2019 season, where he should be a starter for Oakland.

If the Raiders can add a player like Baker to a group that includes Gareon Conley, Worley, and 2018 fourth-round pick Nick Nelson, this position group is going to be a strength next season. We have seen incredible growth from Conley and Worley, and Nelson looked good in spurts in 2018, so Baker would be quite the icing on the cake at cornerback.
