Trading for Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown will immediately pencil in as the WR1 in Gruden’s offense. Brown will bring a different dimension to the Raiders offense that they just haven’t had out wide in quite some time. It’s abundantly clear, the offense will evolve around his skill set, and will move Brown all around the field finding the best matchups for him to excel.

Brown is dynamic with the ball in his hands, as he can turn a shallow slant into a gigantic chunk play. Gruden finally got his new shiny toy, now it’s time for him to develop the relationship between Derek Carr and Brown on the field.

Carr and Brown appear to have gotten off on the right foot, as they’ve both been active on their social media accounts posting workouts with one another. Both guys already have an incredible work ethic, and hanging around each other on a daily basis can only help elevate their will to win.

Brown’s played the majority of his snaps outside the hashes, but does possess some experience in the slot. Last season he lined up in the slot for 12% of his snaps. Gruden likes versatility within his wide receivers, and Brown obviously has the tools of an astonishing versatile playmaker.
