Antonio Brown was released from the Oakland Raiders today after a list of differences he faced with the organization. After all of the problems Brown has caused, will any team take a risk on him?

I believe there will be teams that call Antonio Brown, the star wide receiver who walked away from $30 million from the Oakland Raiders. But who will pay him?

Will Brown’s ego let him sign somewhere on a prove it deal? How bad does Antonio Brown really want to play football? All of these questions will have to be answered before any NFL general manager will take a flier on him.

Of course, Brown is one of the more talented players in all of football, so there is easily a chance that a number of teams make a call to Drew Rosenhaus, Brown’s agent. However, throughout this whole saga with the Raiders, Rosenhaus has looked lost, or even in the dark, so who knows how all of this will play out.

Let’s take a look at three potential landing spots for Antonio Brown after his release from the Raiders.

New England Patriots

The most obvious choice for Antonio Brown would be the New England Patriots. The Patriots are a no nonsense organization when it comes to locker room problems, but it doesn’t mean they won’t take a risk on a player.

Josh Gordon was signed by the Patriots after countless off the field issues, but the Patriots stuck with him and even brought him back this season. If there is any team that Brown may let go of his ego for, it is New England.

The best way for Brown to rub all of this in the face of the Raiders and Steelers would be to go win a Super Bowl, and his best chance of doing so would be with New England. Remember the last time Tom Brady had the best receiver in the league on his team? I’m sure the Patriots do.

Kansas City Chiefs

There is no doubt that Antonio Brown will want to get back at the Raiders, so why not sign with a division rival? Antonio Brown may not be the most controversial player in Kansas City with everything going on with Tyreek Hill, and they just signed him to an extension!

Brown would be on a team that is an immediate Super Bowl contender, and he would be paired with the hottest QB in the NFL in Patrick Mahomes. Antonio Brown with Tyreek Hill would be by far the scariest duo in the NFL, and he would get to show that against the Raiders twice a year.

Antonio Brown loves drama, and this would be the biggest diva move he could make right now. In addition, Andy Reid is an absolute genius when it comes to the offensive side of the ball, and I am sure he could find room in his already-explosive offense for a guy like Brown.

Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens drafted Antonio Brown’s cousin, Marquise Brown to be their lead receiver in 2019. Antonio Brown showed interest in playing with his cousin in the past, trying to get the Raiders to draft him, and now he could have the chance to play with him.

Not only would Brown be teamed up with his cousin, he would get to play against the Steelers twice a year, and he would be by far the best player on the team. He could bring Lamar Jackson to an entire new level, all while winning the division his former team plays in.

The Ravens defense should be one of the best in the league this season, and with the addition of Brown and Mark Ingram, the offense should be much improved. Brown would be a perfect fit in Baltimore with his cousin, giving John Harbaugh and company two speedy, and talented wideouts on the outside.
