Josh Jacobs is the difference maker for the Raiders offense

Josh Jacobs left the game due to cramping and ended up needing an IV in the locker room. However, he only had 12 touches on the game, compare that to the over 20 he had in the Denver game.

Likely because the game got out of hand, Jacobs wasn’t a focal point of the team this week. Derek Carr was forced to do more with the ball in Week 2, and without Jacobs behind him, he struggled. He made mistakes which he normally won’t due to a lack of a running game.

It’s important the Raiders get the lead early and maintain the lead to help Carr run the offense better. Overall, the team played better in the second half, but the Chiefs were too good to take out. It will be interesting to see how Jacobs fares in Week 3, because he is dealing with a groin injury, and not having him at 100 percent could worrisome at this point in the season.

Next. Raiders need a second wide receiver to emerge. dark
