Denver Broncos

In a result that absolutely no one saw coming, the Denver Broncos completely dominated the Houston Texans on the road to the tune of 38-24. Don’t let the score fool you, the Texans managed to salvage the day (somewhat) by finding the endzone late, but at one point the Broncos were ahead 38-3.

That’s correct, Drew Lock had a 35-point lead over Deshaun Watson.

Speaking of quarterbacks, Lock finished with 309 yards passing and three touchdowns, good enough for a 136 passer rating. On the contrary, Watson completed around 56 percent of his passes with one touchdown and two interceptions, while being sacked three times on the day. His passer rating by the final whistle: 63.1

It was the upset of the day for sure and gave social media a field day. There’s simply no other way to put it, it was a dominating win by the Broncos in a manner that nobody, especially Houston, saw coming. The win bumps Denver to 5-8 in the division.
