4. Derek Carr

While some Raider fans have become very frustrated with Derek Carr’s play as of late, he is hands down the best quarterback the franchise has seen since 2004. This season, the gunslinger became the all-time franchise leader in passing yards surpassing the legendary, Ken Stabler.

If the six-year veteran is retained, he should replace the Snake in regards to touchdowns as well, since Carr only needs eight to break the record. While the team has not won a ton of games with him under center, they have had a true franchise guy during his six seasons as the starter, and you cannot argue with how much he loves being a member of the Silver and Black.

Comparing the 2014 second-round pick to Oakland’s other quarterbacks of the decade is almost comical. In that timeframe, he leads all other passers in touchdowns by 108, yards by 16,022, and fourth-quarter comebacks by 15. Regardless of his recent struggles, Carr is more than deserving of a spot on this list.
