5 must-win games for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020

Week 1: Raiders at Panthers

The Raiders are set to kick off their 2020 season against the new-look Carolina Panthers. This offseason, the Panthers have given their franchise a new look, hiring former Baylor head coach Matt Rhule to take over the duties at the top.

With a new head coach and the signing of free-agent quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, the Panthers will be tasked to install a new playbook prior to the start of the year. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, OTA’s and training camp both remain unknown if and when they will take place. As a result, installations may all be completed in a virtual format.

Advantage Raiders as Derek Carr enters his seventh season in the NFL and his third year in Jon Gruden’s offense. He is coming off back-to-back 4,000-yard seasons, and with a brand new wide receiver room, look for him to take the next step in 2020, hopefully going back to the 2016 form that nearly netted him an MVP.
