Las Vegas Raiders fantasy outlook: 2020 Week 10 Sit ‘Em or Start ‘Em

Running Backs

Josh Jacobs – Start ‘Em

Josh Jacobs had another excellent game, and this time around he added a touchdown to increase his points total for the week. Jacobs rushed for 65 yards on 14 carries and a touchdown to put the sixth most points by a running back in standard leagues, and 11th most in PPR leagues in Week 9.

He is not quite seeing the same volume as he did early in the season, as the Raiders look to protect their star back from too much wear, but he is doing more with less opportunities. Denver has given up the 8th fewest points to running backs this season, primarily by keeping them out of the end zone, having allowed just six rushing touchdowns.

Despite the stats, the Raiders are one of the more run-heavy teams in the NFL, and Jacobs will get plenty of touches to justify his place in your starting lineup. It may be tough sledding without FB Alec Ingold as well, but you have to trust your horses against a middle of the pack overall defense.

Devontae Booker – Start ‘Em in deep leagues

It may be time we start paying more attention to Devontae Booker, as more than just a handcuff for Josh Jacobs as he is starting to get more touches. Against the Chargers, Booker put up 68 yards on just eight carries, and scored the Raiders’ opening touchdown of the game.

He will be even more motivated against his former team and Gruden could feed him a bit more than usual this week.

Booker is also seeing his snaps increase week to week and if Alec Ingold is out with a rib injury, he could see more snaps as the second back and play a bigger role in the passing game. If you’re in a 12-team league and are in need of a FLEX play, it may be worth the gamble to plug Booker in to your lineup.
