Las Vegas Raiders fantasy outlook: Week 12 Sit ‘Em or Start ‘Em

Quarterback

Derek Carr – Start ‘Em

Derek Carr had yet another great game against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 12, as he put up 275 yards, three touchdowns, and one late interception that did little to diminish his efforts against a solid defense. It was not quite as good as his performance against KC in Week 5 but it was good enough for eighth among quarterbacks in Week 12.

He is having a quality fantasy season and is a top-20 quarterback in terms of total points though he’s performing at a top 7-10 level in real life.

This week he gets a juicy matchup against a Falcons defense that is 29th in the NFL in passing yards allowed and has given up more than 20 passing touchdowns already. They are also giving up the most fantasy points to QBs so far this season so all signs point to a big day for Carr on Sunday.

Carr should also have plenty of time to operate as his offensive line gets closer to full health though he will still be without Trent Brown for another couple weeks and Richie Incognito for the rest of the season. The Falcons are one of the worst pass rushing teams in the league but they have recorded seven interceptions so Carr will have to be on top of his game to keep the turnovers from reducing his point totals.

Keep rolling with Carr and as long as the game is a contest we can expect him to put up big numbers for the second week in a row.
