Indianapolis Colts at Las Vegas Raiders: Game preview and prediction

Game Preview

The Raiders need to see a massive improvement from their last two games, as the Colts are an extremely tough matchup for the Silver and Black. Although Indianapolis does not have a great offense, it still will likely have enough power to put points on the board against one of the worst defenses in the league in the Raiders.

Philip Rivers is a familiar foe of the Raiders, having played in their division with the Chargers for his entire career until this season. Rivers has been far from phenomenal this season, but he has improved greatly throughout the season, and has done just enough for the Colts to win the majority of their games.

The real concern for the Raiders is the Colts defensive line, specifically DeForest Buckner. If you don’t know how good Buckner is, watch how the Colts’ run-defense performed when he was not on the field against Tennessee two weeks ago.

Buckner may have as big of an impact on his team as any player in the NFL, although he does not get the credit for it, and the Raiders offensive line will have to be on point to open holes for the running game.
