The lack of pass rush on the edge was a big problem for the Raiders, but the lack of interior push may have been an even greater issue. It is not an exaggeration to say the Raiders got nothing from their interior pass rush, and in a scheme like Bradley’s that blitzes very little, the Raiders need to improve all phases of the defensive line.

Haskell Garrett was one of the bright spots in an otherwise disappointing Ohio State defense this past season. Garrett’s breakout season almost didn’t happen as he was hospitalized before the season after being shot in the face while trying to break up a fight between a man and a woman in Columbus back in late August.

But Garrett recovered from his wounds and went on to show why he such a coveted recruit coming out of high school. Garrett provided constant pressure in the middle of the Ohio State defensive line, which is certainly something the Raiders could use.

With a nice blend of quickness and power, he could be a steal for the Raiders on day 3.
