Las Vegas Raiders cannot afford to miss in free agency again in 2021

The Las Vegas Raiders franchise is entering their third offseason with the combination of Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock calling the shots, and it is certainly a big one. This is a team who has gotten better in terms of the win column in each of the last three seasons, but they have also continued to see allergic to the playoffs.
Over the last two years, with the teams that Mayock and Gruden constructed, the Raiders have gotten out to a fast start, only to see their playoff hopes diminish in the second half of the season. After failing to make the playoffs in their last season in Oakland, and seeing quarterback Derek Carr booed out of the Coliseum, Las Vegas was looked at as a fresh start for the organization.
After getting out to a 6-3 start, the Raiders seemed destined for the playoffs, only to go 2-5 down the stretch, and once again miss out on playing meaningful January football. Entering the 2021 offseason, changes are coming, as the team is in salary cap hell, and has some big cuts to make, making this the most important offseason of this duo’s tenure with the Raiders.
One thing is for sure, they cannot afford to miss in free agency once again.
