Las Vegas Raiders pre-free agency 7-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft
In a defense-focused draft, the Raiders make just their second offensive pick with wide receiver Simi Fehoko from the Stanford Cardinal. The redshirt sophomore declared for the draft after a short but productive season after the Pac-12 delayed the start of the year until November.
In just six games in 2020, Fehoko recorded 37 catches for 574 yards and three touchdowns and could have been on pace for a 1,000-yard season if the Cardinal played a full schedule. Aside from a solid statistical season, what makes Fehoko an intriguing prospect are his measurables and expected performance at Stanford’s upcoming pro day.
Fehoko measures in at 6’4″, 227lbs and is expected to run a 40-yard dash in the 4.4-4.5 range which is tremendous for a man his size. He may be an under-the-radar prospect due to his relative lack of production but could wind up being an excellent pro player wherever he winds up.
For the Raiders he could fill a need as a big receiver and red zone threat because of his aerial ability and strength at the catch point. He can also be a contributor right away on special teams and given Jon Gruden’s love of big receivers, he could be a target for the Raiders late in the draft.
