The Las Vegas Raiders have 8 selections in the 2021 NFL Draft and here are 3 bold predictions on how they plan to use those picks.

The Las Vegas Raiders are entering a pivotal moment in their history. Jon Gruden is entering year four of his 10 year deal, GM Mike Mayock is entering the third year of his tenure, and the Raiders are in a must-win mode now more than ever.

They have an offense that finished top-10 in most of the major statistical categories and should have been good enough for a playoff berth but a bottom-of-the-barrel defense held them back. There were plenty of excuses that could be used for the failures of the 2020 season including the team being decimated by COVID and a lack of production from a rookie class due to a non-existent offseason.

This year, the time for excuses is up and there needs to be major improvement up and down the roster. The Raiders started by filling some holes in free agency but the next, and even more important step, is to build the team through the draft.

We know what the Raiders’ needs are going into the draft and they have eight picks as of today to fill them if they don’t decide to simply take the best player available and build up their talent. Here are three bold predictions for how the Raiders plan to use those 8 picks in the 2021 NFL Draft.
