2021 NFL Draft: 7-round Las Vegas Raiders mock draft brings major haul

With the 162nd overall pick, the Las Vegas Raiders select Trey Hill out of the University of Georgia. Hill is a versatile interior offensive lineman that has plenty of experience playing both the guard and center positions.

The Georgia native joined the Bulldogs as a four-star prospect out of high school and became a starter at right guard at the end of his freshman year. He would go on to become the full-time starter at center in 2019 and 2020 but missed the last two games of the 2020 season with a knee injury.

Hill is a big body, measuring in at 6-3, 319lbs, and has the frame and width to play any of the interior offensive line positions at the NFL level. He excelled in the run game and is known as a violent run blocker but needs some help with his pass protection which is standard for a prospect taken this late in the draft.

The former Bulldog has some things to clean up when it comes to technique but is known as a smart player that can read defenses and has enough mobility to pull outside on run plays. He projects as a 5th-6th round pick but the Raiders could draft him and develop him for a year or so while Richie Incognito, John Simpson, and Denzelle Good are on the roster.
