2021 AFC West Cornerbacks: Where do the Las Vegas Raiders rank?

2. Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers have had talent all over their secondary for a while now, and this year isn’t any different.  We all know how good a corner Chris Harris Jr. is, as he was a former Denver Broncos corner, picking to sign with the Chargers over the Raiders a couple of years ago because the Raiders wanted him to be a slot corner.

The other starting cornerback will probably be fourth-year player Michael Davis, who has played decently so far in his career, picking off three passes last season, while allowing a 60% completion percentage in nearly all three seasons so far. Harris is a more legit player than any of the corners the Kansas City Chiefs, have so the Chargers land on number two on this list here.

Rounding out the group for the Chargers will be 2021 second-round draft pick Asante Samuel Jr., who has the pedigree, and talent to be a standout player at the next level. In fact, he is going to push Davis for a starting role this season, and when you look at this position group as a whole in Los Angeles, there is certainly more to like than there is to not like.
