There have been a lot of rumors about Davante Adams not being happy in Green Bay, and he has shown interest in joining the Raiders in the future.
With everything going around the media right now, it is clear that Davante Adams could potentially be with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022. However, with the news of the Packers not looking to extend him, why not go after him now and make there no question of what his next team will be?
It is difficult to guess what a trade for Adams would look like, considering how much different the costs of players like Stefon Diggs, Amari Cooper, Julio Jones, and DeAndre Hopkins were when they were traded, but there is no question the asking price will be high. The real question is how much will teams be willing to give up for a player on the end of his contract, and how much the asking price could fall if things continue to go south in Green Bay.
There is no doubt that Adams is a premier wide receiver in this league, and the Packers would likely be looking to get some outstanding assets back for his services. Las Vegas is a team that is still undecided as to who the WR1 will be in 2021, so is it possible they swing a trade for him during training camp.
Let’s take a look at three potential trades that could catch the attention of the Packers.

The most obvious trade for Davante Adams would be to give up a first round pick, although it would likely take a bit more than that. Amari Cooper went for a first round pick, and Adams is looked at as a top three receiver while Cooper is borderline top-ten, and at the time, was not even that.
The DeAndre Hopkins trade will be looked at by a lot of fans as what the Raiders should be able to get Adams for, but that will not be the case. At first, if the Packers listen to trade offers for Adams, they will surely ask for multiple first-round picks, although teams will not offer it, and they will have to revert to Plan B.
The Raiders have not hit with their first-round picks, so it should be a no-brainer to trade a first-round pick and some more for the star receiver. The Raiders weapons would then become Adams, Darren Waller, Henry Ruggs III, John Brown, and Bryan Edwards, along with Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake.

If teams are not willing to give a first round pick, and the Raiders have to give a pick and a player, I believe the most likely would be Bryan Edwards. The Raiders will not trade Ruggs, they just brought in John Brown, and players like Willie Snead and Zay Jones will not hold enough value to add to the trade.
I believe Edwards has a lot of potential and will be a good player for the Raiders, but if he is a piece that has to get shipped off for Adams, it is a no-brainer. In this scenario, Adams would join John Brown and Henry Ruggs out wide, being surrounded by a ton of speed and opening up the field a ton for guys like Waller and Renfrow.
Julio Jones was traded for a second and a fourth, but his age, injury history, and contract are what led to that. If Adams does somehow go for a second, then a solid, young piece at the position will likely be required, as well as a few other draft picks for the services of such an elite weapon.

If the Raiders did not want to give up a first round pick, they would have to add a lot of desirable pieces to make the Packers consider the trade. To start off, the Raiders could offer former first round pick Johnathan Abram, who is still looking to find his footing at the NFL level, but someone who fills a void in Green Bay.
I am not sure that the Raiders would be willing to let him go, but considering they brought in Karl Joseph, as well as drafting Tre’Von Moehrig, they are capable at the position.
Hunter Renfrow is a player I would not want to see the Raiders let go, but if it meant the team bringing in Davante Adams, I am all for it. I would assume teams would view Renfrow as a great piece in trades, as he is criminally underused in the Raiders offense, and would likely thrive a ton with an offense like the Packers.

Raiders: 10 Potential roster cuts to monitor outside of the organization
With more roster cuts on the way before 2021 free agency, the Las Vegas Raiders should keep their eyes on talented veterans who could hit the open market.
The Raiders would also have to give a second round pick, because even though Abram and Renfrow is a lot, it is not even close to equaling Davante Adams. The Packers have some real issues going on with the front office and their superstars this offseason, and while there is a lot of assets going there in these trades, Adams is well worth it.
