Las Vegas Raiders vs Chicago Bears: Offensive Grades in 2021 Week 5
If anyone could rewind time and remember when the Raiders had All-Pro center Rodney Hudson, well this may bring tears to some fans’ eyes. The offensive line of the Raiders had been un-Hudson-like, and more Leatherwood-like.
The Raiders had the brave and wise idea to move their struggling rookie offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood to guard in this one, and he left off where he has at tackle and performed terribly. The rest of the line was nearly on par with Leatherwood, each allowing Carr to be pressured at nearly every turn.
The struggles of this offensive line are becoming a trend as week-to-week it is getting worse. At this rate, the Raiders are surely going to have the worst offensive line in the sport, and they continued their embarrassing run in this one following their downright awful play from last week.
The Raiders will be searching for a new head coach following the resignation of Jon Gruden, and there are some key names to choose from.
This offensive line needs a makeover, trades, just something, as with a 3-2 record, the Raiders might be disintegrating, and the franchise needs to come up with some way to fix it as the year may be getting away from them.
