ARLINGTON, TX – APRIL 26: A video board displays the text “THE PICK IS IN” for the Oakland Raiders during the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft at AT&T Stadium on April 26, 2018, in Arlington, Texas. (Photo by Tom Pennington/Getty Images) /

Could the Raiders go with Hall at pick No. 22?

The way he plays the game is downright violent. He’s certainly a bully in the trenches. He’s got Raider written all over him. Another key aspect of Hall’s game is his versatility. He’s by no means your typical NFL nose tackle for his size, so he’s not a traditional interior lineman in that aspect.

However, as Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels has made it clear, the days of the basic 3-4 or 4-3 defense are gone. In the modern NFL, you have to adapt and modify your defense week to week. With that in mind, a multifaceted lineman that can play any gap is invaluable.

Hall has made his way up draft boards these past few weeks, and in a draft that will be as unpredictable as it’s ever been, Hall to the Raiders could happen. To win in the NFL, you have to win in the trenches, so while the offensive line may be the bigger need, based on how the draft shakes up before pick No. 22, it is anybody’s guess as to what the Silver and Black will do with this pick.
