Las Vegas Raiders: 53-man roster projection post-2022 NFL Draft

Running Back (5): Josh Jacobs, Kenyan Drake, Brandon Bolden, Zamir White, Jakob Johnson (FB)

The running back position saw multiple new faces added to it this offseason via free agency and the 2022 NFL Draft. The New England connection definitely came through in Brandon Bolden and Jakob Johnson, who played under new head coach Josh McDaniels with the Patriots, as they will join the tandem of Kenyan Drake and Josh Jacobs.

Jacobs was a 2019 first-round pick of the Raiders but had his fifth-year option declined, so he is going into a prove-it year. Drake showed flashes of brilliance before being injured last season, and there is also 2022 draft pick Zamir White, who many feels will be the new feature back in Las Vegas after this season.

Overall, this is a position group that is loaded with talent, and we saw in New England how McDaniels likes to have multiple weapons at the running back position. He will have that here, and it will be interesting to see what roles each player is put in behind an offensive line that could be an issue once again.

Total Roster Number: 7
