The Las Vegas Raiders will likely be looking to trade quarterback Derek Carr this off-season, here are 5 dark horse teams that could acquire his services

The Raiders’ front office made the decision after nearly 9 years of service that they would be moving on from Derek Carr after the 2022 season. There is still a small chance that they bring Carr back but we can safely assume that he will be wearing a different uniform in 2023 after everything that has transpired in the last few weeks.

It is hard to believe that we got to this point after all of the preseason hype and trade for Davante Adams but the team, and Derek Carr, have underachieved and will be missing the postseason for the 5th time since 2016. Mark Davis has made it clear that he gave Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler the keys and has given them free rein to make whatever changes they want to make.

The jury is still out on McDaniels and Ziegler but Davis and team brass have decided that Carr is guilty of not taking the Raiders to where they need to be. They will be looking to trade him as soon as possible and some of the top teams linked to him are the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

There are a few others with slightly longer odds but today we will be focusing on the teams with the longest odds according to oddsmakers and one that may really surprise you. Let’s jump right in and see some of the darkhorse candidates for Derek Carr’s next team.
