Draft QB Derek Carr in Round 1 of NFL draft

Derek Carr is one of the best signal callers in the draft, and he will be available at pick #5 if the Raiders choose to draft a QB.

The Raiders need a QB this offseason who can be the future of this franchise and instead of drafting a more risky prospect like Blake Bortles off of his physical tools and potential, drafting Carr is a safer option who has all the experience you want in a rookie QB and has the NFL pedigree.

Reggie also values the character of a prospect just as much as his abilities. Carr has shown to be very mature in his career at Fresno State by juggling by being a father and all the football antics that go into a future first round pick.

Love the Adams draft selection..strongly disagree with the Byrd signing..he will cosy more than he’s worth.I say re-sign Woodson and young and draft Deone Bucannon in the sencond rd..kid is a hardhittin playmakingBEAST.

  • Sebastian Cosentino

The second round selection was taken by Davante Adams.

In your plan yes..in my plan they acquire another 2nd Rd pick..and they take both.

    Solid article go raiders

  • Sebastian Cosentino

How did they acquire a second pick in your plan?

  • John Thomas Hurdle II

I could win with the current Qb. Mr. McKenzie contact me I show you how if you have not read my last inquiry.

  • John Thomas Hurdle II

No Qb with the first rd pick. I would trade down get the DE. from Louisville in the second round.

By trading down in the first.Minnesota seems like a likely candidate

Appreciate part of article that points out how quick we COULD have decent line. If we are able to sign 1-2 solid free agent linemen, I would get Watkins & use QB’s we got. An elite playmaker with a decent line can make QB’s & other receivers better. Thus, we could wait to go all in on Marcus Mariota. If line still suspect prior to draft, I would take best d player available or trade down to get extra second round pick; taking three d/o linemen in first 2 rounds. Go Raiderrrrs
