Derek Carr is one of the best signal callers in the draft, and he will be available at pick #5 if the Raiders choose to draft a QB.

The Raiders need a QB this offseason who can be the future of this franchise and instead of drafting a more risky prospect like Blake Bortles off of his physical tools and potential, drafting Carr is a safer option who has all the experience you want in a rookie QB and has the NFL pedigree.

Reggie also values the character of a prospect just as much as his abilities. Carr has shown to be very mature in his career at Fresno State by juggling by being a father and all the football antics that go into a future first round pick.
