Dec 31, 2013; Atlanta, GA, USA; Texas A&M Aggies offensive linesman Jake Matthews (75) sets to pass block Duke Blue Devils defensive end Kenny Anunike (84) during the second quarter in the 2013 Chick-fil-a Bowl at the Georgia Dome. Mandatory Credit: John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

#2 St Louis Rams: Jake Matthews, OT TAMU

Rory’s Take: This pick has seen a lot of change but in this scenario going back to the original idea of a left tackle makes a lot of sense. The loss of Saffold could be significant and would require the immediate addition of a talented replacement.

Chase’s Take: Holding the #13 pick St. Louis can use this #2 pick to either trade down or take the best left tackle available if they choose to not load up on a position they are already set at with Clowney and stick with Sam Bradford at QB for the rest of his contract. Matthews is our consensus best LT available so he lands at the deuce spot this week.
