#3 Jacksonville Jaguars: Jadeveon Clowney, DE S. Carolina

Rory’s Take: The Jaguars have been pretty clear that they love the talent of Clowney and with the top quarterback gone they may as well take the best player available. Clowney could change a lot for this franchise and give them something they have lacked for a long time.

Chase’s Take: This is a massive win for the Jaguars and one that would give them a scarily underrated defense right away. The fact that this could be possible with the Texans interested in a quarterback and St. Louis set on pass rushers should give Jacksonville hope that they could potentially land arguably the best player in the draft.

With holes all over the team, and having 2 players who show great potential, and a ton of talent available in the round you have the raiders wasting the 5th pick of the draft on a TE that even in the best evaluations of him have a mid to late first round (I have seen 15 as the Highest) yet we would waste the 5th pick on him with a host of other players and holes???

Sammy watkins to the brown when they have no qb & a tight end at #5 to the raiders that have no qb or pass rush.. I guess they really let any idiot post an article nowadays huh? Are you guys hiring? My cousin with down syndrome is looking for a job.

So Derek Carr to Oakland in round 2. I’m jiggy with it.

  • Rees Britton

What about David Ausberry? They had high hopes for him before he hurt his shoulder. Now with Rivera emerging as a solid TE, why in gods name would we pick a TE?

  • Dean Thomas

I’d like to see Oakland address the OL in free agency (some good ones out there), load up defense through the draft and retain good players, and perhaps bring in Freeman at QB. I was watching his games from a few years ago over the weekend, he looked pretty damn good when Olsen was in Tampa.
