With the NFL Combine slowly creeping upon us there are a lot of different options the Raiders have. Currently holding the No. 5 overall pick and picks in every round except the fifth, the draft is where the Raiders can add a lot of depth and talent to their team. The Raiders could trade down and gather even more picks if the right situation presents itself. Having a successful draft starts with properly evaluating the talent at the combine. I have put together a list of ten athletes the Raiders should have their sights on whether they be big name players or small school guys. These are the players I expect to light up the drills this weekend and vault up the draft boards.

No matter what the raiders do it won’t help right away.they have to many problems in house.

Kind of tough for the Raiders to “trade down” and select Khalil Mack later in the top 5 as they hold the number 5 pick. Editors? Editors? Anyone? Bueller?

Yes sorry about that mistake I meant top 10

I think with a great offseason raiders have a chance to win 7-9 games next season and possibly be in contention for a playoff spot

Could the Raiders go after two Impact players in the 1st Round? Meaning, they stay with number 5 and trade up into the 1 with their second pic?

I’m thinking Anthony Barr @ #5 and the best player that drop to them. The question, who would be this second guy be?

Imagine this scenario , the Raiders grab Barr and then RaShede Hageman?

Imagine this scenario, Sammy Watkins @ 5 and then the best QB on the board.

That’s an interesting thing to think about but I don’t see the raiders drafting Watkins at 5 this wr class is so deep there would be better impact than a wr

They say, Defensive Ends translates pretty well into the NFL; if you rush, you can rush… The more I’m learning about Anthony Barr, the more I’m liking.

What if the Raiders really crank up the defense ?

They build a monstrous defensive line… They grab a couple of monsters for the middle, they get a B. J. Raji and then an RaShede Hageman . You have B. J. Raji and Simm and then rotate in RaShede Hageman . Basically, we beat the day lights out of Denver and KC line s all day long. Behind all this and from the flank, you have an Anthony Barr, Cio Moore and an Allen darting in there non stop….. I’m picturing Patten Manning on an old folks front porch shaking his cain and or a mental home with super bowl flashbacks.
