Besides, if you haven’t heard by now, the Oakland Raiders fan-base (Raider Nation), has been calling for General Manager Reggie McKenzie to sign Jackson.  It’s been all over social media and trending all around the world under #DJaxToOakland.  Look, we here in Raider Nation know what it’s like to be labeled, and the Raider Nation won’t judge Jackson based on his off-the-field activities, as long as he’s producing on the field.  Bring those 82 catches for 1,332 yards and 9 touchdowns to the Silver and Black, because the Raiders need a playmaker.  The Raiders struggles over the losing years have stemmed from a number of things, and the receiving corps and special teams are a big part of that.

Look, as a member of the greatest Nation in the world, the only Nation, the Raider Nation, I’m here to tell you that stereotyping is wrong.  The Raider Nation has been accused of being gang members, hoodlums, hell raisers (OK, true statement), thugs, miscreants, a prison ward, etc…  Why?  Is it due to the fact that we are very passionate about our team, the Oakland Raiders?  So what!  We, the Raider Nation, believe in the Oakland Raiders, and we will defend it no matter what.  If you don’t like it, too bad!  Still, they, the others, want to place a label on us.

DeSean Jackson is that lights-out dynamic player who can take it to the house on “Any Given Sunday!”  He is worth the money that he is demanding.  It just so happens that the Raiders can pay for the production.  Not to mention that this would be a homecoming for DeSean Jackson, and we all know that most players play better in front of their home crowds.  Come on Reggie, sign him up!  #DJaxToOakland baby!
