The Oakland Raiders held the 10th annual Biletnikoff Foundation golf tournament earlier this week. An annual event to support the Biletnikoff Foundation that takes place just after the team reports for their first “voluntary” offseason workouts, the event included a mix of veteran legends who all got together to continue to help support one of their fellow Raiders for a good cause.

Players who attended included:

Daryle Lamonica, Cliff Branch, James Lofton, Mike Haynes, Willie Gault, Tim Brown, Raymond Chester, Rod Martin, Rod Woodson, Barry Sims, Lincoln Kennedy, Dwight Clark, Eric Wright, Dwight Hicks, Jerry Porter, George Atkinson, Mel Renfro, Steve Wisniewski, Ted Hendricks, Mervyn Fernandez, Vance Mueller and Carl Eller.

In addition to players and coaching staff, various other celebrities came to play such as Ryan Merriman, Debbe Dunning, Paula Trickey, JT the Brick and Jeff Brehaut to name a few.

The annual golf tournament is in support of the Biletnikoff Foundation, a foundation created in memory of for former player Fred Biletnikoff’s daughter who was tragically murdered. All proceeds go to help troubled youth realize their full potential and learn to love life.

Biletnikoff was proud of the turnout this year, saying that the tournament will help make great strides in allowing the program continue to fund projects to help teenagers better their lives.

"“We have such a good response from everybody coming out and it keeps growing every year. We’re putting together a house in Loomis. There’s a rehab program up there for teenagers. They house girls and boys. We’re taking over one of the houses and we got a bunch of people together and they’re going to gut the whole house and re-do the whole house. The response we’ve gotten from guys to donate materials and time has been unbelievable.”"
