The minds at EA Sports in charge of rating each NFL player ahead of the release of Madden NFL 15 are slowly leaking the overall ratings of the top players at each position prior to the start of the 2014 NFL season as well as their release of the highly anticipate edition of the high selling football simulator that will be hitting the PS4 and XBOX One as the first true “next gen” version of the game after making Madden 25 available for the new consoles despite the game coming out in the fall.

After Khalil Mack was one of the highest rated rookies in the game with an 81 overall as an outside linebacker, the minds at EA Sports had one more Oakland Raiders player to announce the rating of as Marcel Reece was one of the Top Five Fullbacks as expected and will be an impressive 92 overall to start the game.

Reece was the third highest rated fullback in the game, falling just below the Green Bay Packers John Kuhn (93 overall) and tying Carolina Panthers fullback Mike Tolbert as the other 92 overall rated fullback. Reece did have a higher overall rating than Chiefs fullback Anthony Sherman (90 overall), which Raiders fans will tell you is more than fair as the AFC Pro Bowler Reece is clearly the most dominant fullback in the division and in the AFC as a whole.

With Reece’s rating being released today expect Raiders fans to have to wait a few weeks to find out the ratings of the rest of the roster as it is unlikely that EA Sports will have any more Oakland Raiders as top five players in their positions. Something that Raiders fans who don’t care about Madden may be apathetic to, but for the video gamers in Raider Nation who want to know exactly how good their virtual team will be this season the wait might be a long one as players from other teams ratings will be released long before some of the top Raiders on the roster.
