Unfortunately for the Raider Nation, I don’t think that’s going to happen with the current coaching staff.  Something must happen to get the players motivated to play.  I saw a very lackluster performance from the players in the first half and most of the 3rd quarter of Sunday’s ugly loss to the Houston Texans.  It’s very noticeable that Head Coach Dennis Allen has lost the locker room, and he doesn’t have what it takes to be the leader of this team.  For all you D.A. lovers out there, I can’t support him anymore.  He is supposed to be the one that brings it all together (i.e., OC play calling and DC play calling), and he is unable to do this.

Adjustments need to be made in the 1st and 2nd quarters of a game, not just at half time, and this did not happen.  Too many rushing yards, and the defense let a Defensive Lineman (J.J. Watt) score a touchdown, really!  I’m not taking anything away from Watt, but that’s High School trickery.  These types of plays make the Raiders look like a bunch of chumps the rest of the NFL can push around at will.  It was embarrassing.  The sad part is, the Texans were on cruise control after the first half of football, and they still scored another touchdown.

I see no intensity from the Raiders Coaching Staff, especially none from Head Coach Dennis Allen.  In the end, all I hear from him are excuses, and he says many times over that the players need to execute.  There is no responsibility being taken by him.  It’s time that the Raiders Owner, Mark Davis, take some team ownership initiative and make a change.  Direct General Manager Reggie McKenzie to make a coaching change.  Al Saunders, Tony Sparano, or Bobby April are all good candidates for the Interim Head Coaching job, and they are all on the staff.  I want what’s best for the team, Go Raiders!
