Injury News & Notes From SFGATE.com:
"Raiders cornerbacks Nnamdi Asomugha (knee) and Fabian Washington (calf) missed a second day of practice Thursday. Raiders coach Lane Kiffin hopes they’ll play Sunday, but just imagine if they don’t.Oakland went with seven cornerbacks on the 53-man roster this season, but Stanford Routt is the only proven commodity in the bunch. Chris Carr can play in a bind, but there’s a reason his emphasis is on special teams return and nickle coverage.Chris Johnson is another option, but then who? The only thing rookie John Bowie is known for is being the player Oakland drafted with the pick they got from New England for Randy Moss.Add starting wide receiver Jerry Porter to the injury list after he woke up with knee pain Friday, Kiffin said. Cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha (knee) practiced some Friday and expects to play. Cornerback Fabian Washington (calf) didn’t practice and is less likely to play, which could mean increased coverage time for Chris Carr and Chris Johnson. Defensive tackle Warren Sapp (knee) is probable."
