#10 Detroit Lions: Taylor Lewan, OT Mich

Rory’s Take: The Lions desperately need to add talent to the defensive backfield, but with an opportunity to draft a mauler left tackle like Lewan they instead bolster the offensive line.

Chase’s Take: What better way to distract from a terrible season than picking the best Michigan-area college prospect to rejuvenate your offensive line? It wouldn’t be the flashiest pick but Lewan has the talent to play on NFL offensive lines for the next 15 years if everything goes his way. His physical play should translate into the NFL and he was outstanding during the Michigan-Ohio State game where the Wolverines had a good day on offense thanks to the time they had to operate.
