#1 Houston Texans: Jadeveon Clowney, DE S. Carolina

Rory’s Take: The Texans owner has recently spoke glowingly about Clowney which gives me some incentive to start this mock off a little differently. As a football fan this would be a stunning combination and if they were able to stay together could go down as the best duo we have seen in a long time when you include JJ Watt.

Chase’s Take: It is very much appearing that if the Houston Texans will be taking Clowney should they not draft a QB. Clowney might very well still be the best player in this draft regardless of position and new head coach Bill O’Brien might not be feeling Bridgewater like experts were earlier in the season.
