Rory’s Take: There are a lot of directions that the Giants can go, but corner makes a lot of sense. This team is getting older with some serious cap issues and adding another talented cornerback could desperately help the pass rush. His physicality is off the charts and he covers in every style well.
Chase’s Take: Dennard really vaulted up boards in part of the Spartans run to the Big Ten title and the Rose Bowl win over Stanford. A physical corner who can cover almost anybody at the collegiate level, Dennard’s tackling issues against the powerful Stanford offense might raise some concerns even if those concerns are just nitpicking. I like him as the first corner taken in the draft regardless.
