Current Sport/Team: Baseball, Atlanta Braves

Height/Weight: 6’5″, 240 lbs

Position in Football: 3-4 OLB, 4-3 DE

The big right fielder for the Atlanta Braves kicks off our list at #5 because of his unique blend of size and speed you don’t see in a lot of athletes. If we were to help Jason Heyward transition to the Raiders we would place him at OLB/DE in the mold of Aldon Smith or Chandler Jones. With a lot of the athletes on this list we would like to put them in a NFL strength and conditioning program to put a little more size on them and this is the case with Heyward. If he could put about 20 lbs of muscle onto his frame and be taught the ropes of the NFL he could become a dominate pass rusher. Jason Heyward has a unique blend of size, power and speed as he blasted 27 home runs and stole 21 bases in 2012. He had a bit of a down year last year while battling injuries but look for him to get back on track this season. For the Raiders he would fill an immediate need as they are in desperate need of pass rushers. Jason Heyward is a guy I would love to see in Silver and Black because he is the type of freak athlete the NFL loves nowadays.
